-

ARA Johari, a renowned singer known for her powerful rock ballads, has boldly chosen to explore a new music genre, unveiling a new aspect of her artistic expression, Harian Metro reported.

Ara, whose name is Nurfarrah Izzatie, 27, has had a strong desire to break free from her comfort zone. She yearns to showcase her singing talent by performing pop songs, aiming to transform her current image.

Ara’s latest release, Delulu, offers a glimpse into a different side of her artistry, diverging from the familiar territory of heart-wrenching and melancholic tunes.

“This is also a new chapter in my singing career as I move under my own management,” said the singer, who was previously with Rocketfuel Entertainment (RFE).

Ara is grateful to have been able to gather meaningful experiences for more than a decade at RFE.

The artiste, known for her hit song Bunga dan Warkah Untukku, has captivated audiences with her beautiful songwriting and profound messages in her music.

“With this new single, I hope to showcase a song that is easy-going and full of unexpected features, allowing listeners to experience my straightforward vocal style.

“Delulu carries a light message and is just for entertainment,” said Ara, whose song was created along with Justin Seow and Ja’a and distributed by One Stop Music.
