This Mid-Autumn Festival, Ee Chinese Cuisine at Eastin Hotel adds a touch of health to its mooncake offerings, an aspect often disregarded when it comes to these delicious Chinese delicacies. With health in mind, this year’s selection presents the Six Coarse Grains, Green Tea, Red Dates, Sweet Potato and Ginger Tea fillings. These healthy mooncakes will be available until Sept 27.

HEALTH-INSPIRED MOONCAKES Six Coarse Grains consists of six types of essential nuts such as peanuts, walnuts, almonds, pistachios, sesames and melon seeds. The seeds are rich in Omega 3 and mono-unsaturated fatty acids which lowers body cholesterol.

Green Tea is loaded with nutrients and antioxidants. Famed for numerous healthy benefits, green tea helps in reducing the risk of cancer, improves brain function, and encourages fat loss.
