Police reports on unruly acts given to DPP
POLICE have submitted their investigation papers on two incidences of unruly groups insulting political leaders to the deputy public prosecutor (DPP) for further action, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
The incidences involved Bersih 4.0 participants stomping on the image of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak and PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, and another involving the act of several Kota Baru Umno members burning the effigies of DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng and DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang.
Ahmad Zahid, who is also the home minister, said the investigation papers were submitted to the DPP on Sept 17 and Oct 13 respectively.
