CHINA AMBASSADOR ISSUE RESOLVED

PETALING JAYA: The Foreign Affairs Ministry has clarified the issue over summoning China’s ambassador as resolved. A ministry spokesman said when Dr Huang Huikang was summoned to Wisma Putra last September, it was in line with normal diplomatic practice. Huang was called in because the ministry wanted to understand what he really said so as to avoid any potential misunderstandings,” said the spokesman. “Huang’s explanation was to our satisfaction.”
