KTM KOMUTER TO RAISE FARE

PETALING JAYA: Commuters using the Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) Komuter services will pay more from Dec 2. Its chairman Datuk Nawawi Ahmad said a hike for the KTM Komuter line would be announced today, with the new rates implemented from Dec 2. It is expected that the Komuter would charge 15sen per km, up from the current 11sen. However, KTMB's Intercity trains would be spared the fare hike.
