World Children’s Day
EVERY November, the world celebrates a special day to commemorate and spread awareness on mutual understanding on the importance of children’s welfare. An annual celebration at A’Famosa Resort, employees have organised a lineup of fun-filled activities dedicated to children on this special day.
CHILDREN’S DAY PARTY
A’Famosa’s Children’s Day will be celebrated on November 7 this year. The event promises to treat children from all walks of life to an exhilarating day of fun and surprises at its Safari Wonderland. The itinerary includes a safari wonderland tour, an adventure truck ride and raft crossing to Monkey Island plus a number of exciting shows sure to keep young guests entertained and occupied as they participate in the full-day event.
Prior to being whisked away to a Lunch Party, children will be continuous entertained by a special Red Indian performance, a fire breathing showcase and even a lucky draw to keep the fun factor high. At only RM30, the package for an unforgettable experience will include an admission ticket for one, lunch and goodies apart from fun, fun and more fun. Those who purchase 10 tickets will be entitled to one free ticket (maximum three free tickets).
COLOUR RUN
Another annual affair is the A’Famosa Fun Run, back for its third instalment, along with the inaugural Colour Run. The Colour Run will take participants across a specially tailored 5km route. Registration fee is set at RM15 for students and RM20 for adults. The first two winners will walk away with a medal and receive accommodation vouchers each, while the third will receive a medal and a theme park voucher.
FUN RUN
Those into longer distances can look forward to the A’Famosa Fun Run which stretches across 12km. Registration fee starts at RM50 for the open category and RM120 for the group category. Winners in both categories will get a chance to win cash prizes and accommodation vouchers. There is also a lucky draw with prizes worth over RM1,500 to be won.
Both runs will take place on November 8 and are open to the public. Race kits for both runs will include a T-shirt, goodies, a certificate and a lucky draw entry. Only participants for the A’Famosa Fun Run will receive a limitededition finisher medal. For more, log on to A’Famosa Facebook page.
