Our children, our future

AS part of its contribution to the community, Gibraltar BSN Life Berhad (Gibraltar BSN) recently organised a special day for its employees and agents to refurbish Rumah Tunas Harapan Pakatan Kasih in Kota Baru, Kelantan.

A meaningful event, the programme, themed “Our Children, Our Future”, was aimed at making a difference in the lives of underprivileged children around the country through various contributions and undertakings to uplift the community.

A charitable home, Rumah Tunas Harapan Pakatan Kasih, has been operating since 1998 and serves as a sanctuary for 17 children from poor and broken families.

“As a responsible corporate citizen, we believe that it is important to do what we can, to care for those in need. It is initiatives such as “Our Children, Our Future” programme that help play a role in building a brighter futures for these children. Gibraltar BSN prides itself on its tireless efforts to give back to the communities in which we operate, and it is a joy to see the children’s excitement at their newly refurbished home,” shared Gibraltar BSN chief marketing officer Koh Wei Lee.

The volunteers spent the day sprucing up the interior and exterior compound by giving the walls a fresh coat of paint. They also restored old furniture and did minor renovations to the home. The day ended on a good note as the organisers provided a sumptuous lunch for those who participated.
