Tiger brings cheers to the Rooster

THE Heineken Malaysia team brought Tiger Beer offerings and goodies to theSun management and staff, kick-starting the much required festive cheer leading up to the new Year of the Rooster.

Asia’s iconic beer brand marked the visit by presenting a personalis­ed gold coin (symbolisin­g prosperity and good fortune) to theSun management team as a token of gratitude to its valuable media partner. This was followed by the anticipate­d lively lion dance, after which both Heineken and theSun management also lou sang to yee sang, in conjunctio­n with the Tiger STREATS campaign.

The gold coin is also featured in their campaign’s special game “Rolling Board of Prosperity” which will appear in selected outlets, coffee shops, food courts and restaurant­s during the ensuing month, showering customers with an abundance of cash prizes, entertainm­ent and promotions.

Heineken Malaysia managing director Hans Essaadi amplified the need and purpose of this visit reiteratin­g it was “... important for Heineken to keep up our tradition every year, to spread the joy and prosperity of the Chinese New Year to valued members of the media. It is not only an opportunit­y for us to meet and greet them personally, but we’re also proud to kick-start the new lunar year in a prosperous way with them, while showing our appreciati­on for their support throughout the year and wish continued prosperity and good fortune in the Year of the Rooster”.

ENTICING DELIGHTS To celebrate the imminent arrival of the Year of the Rooster, consumers will be offered two enticing CNY offerings the 18-can and 24-can Tiger Beer packs. These promotions will run at selected Giant and Aeon stores throughout Malaysia.

Customers also stand to win some exclusive cash prizes via contests. One of these only requires customers to check the bottle cap liners of any Tiger, Heineken, Guinness Stout or Anchor Beer big bottle. Besides a number of other exciting activities, entertainm­ent gigs and promotions have been conceived to enhance the festive mood and help folk forget the challengin­g economic climes.
