> Police still looking for main suspect who stabbed victim
KUALA LUMPUR: Three more suspects have been arrested to facilitate investigations into a club brawl in Mont Kiara on Saturday, which led to the death of a 22-year-old man.
City Criminal Investigation Department (CID) chief SAC Rusdi Mohd Isa said the suspects, aged between 21 and 22, were picked up at several locations in the Klang Valley.
Earlier, four suspects were remanded until Feb 3 to assist in the probe.
Rusdi said police are still looking for the main suspect who stabbed the deceased.
“We will also take statements from the victim’s friend, who sustained injuries on his chest and head,” he said.
It was learnt that the victim and two friends had gone to the club at 4am.
While they were dancing, the victim accidentally knocked into a man at a nearby table and a fight ensued, resulting in him being stabbed in the chest.
The victim was rushed to hospital, but was pronounced dead at 9.30am.
A source told theSun the deceased has seven criminal records and had been arrested 19 times for various offences.
In July last year, a car jockey and cashier of the same club were slashed to death while another unidentified victim was seriously injured after being attacked by a mob wearing ski masks and armed with machetes.
Six suspects were arrested following that incident.
