“Spicy cuisine has always been a big part of Malaysian culture,” said George Ang, the CEO of Grand Companions, the franchise holder of Tony Roma’s Malaysia.

“Being an innovator in the culinary industry for more than 45 years with creative twists on popular favourites, we’re always on the hunt for original ways to liven up our menu to constantly deliver something new for our customers.

“With this limited-time menu, we want to create not just a meal, but a flavourful experience with that fiery kick to gratify the yearning of Malaysians for something spicy that’s fresh and new as well.”

Ang added that the menu not only features spicy food, but one specially created by the chefs to infuse bold flavours into Tony Roma’s world-famous dishes.

Diners can start with the harissa maple-glazed chicken wings, an appetizer consisting of six sweet and spicy harissa wings served with fiery jalapeño coleslaw.

For mains, they can try the spicy peach beef ribs and peppercorn steak combo – comprising two delicious beef ribs glazed with habaneropeach, and peppercorn rubbed on a 5oz sirloin accompanied by loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli.

If you like seafood, go for the lobster, shrimp scampi pasta and ancho chilli-rubbed salmon, served with fiery jalapeño coleslaw, three cups of soup and a choice of two sides.

These two mains are new takes on hot Tony Roma’s favourites.

To go with the meal, take your pick from two new Tony Roma’s mocktails with an added aftertaste of fiery sweetness – the cucumber jalapeño romarita or the spicy cucumber jalapeño romarita.
