Large-scale cleanup in Klang Valley

PETALING JAYA: In an effort to instil the patriotic spirit and environmental awareness for the upcoming 60th Merdeka celebrations, the Great Heart Charity Association and its partners will be organising the 2017 Great Heart Earth Warriors Day.

Themed “Love our Country, Keep it Clean!”, the event will involve a mass street cleanup environmental project at four different districts in the Klang Valley. They are Klang, Kuala Lumpur and Balakong on Sept 9 and Bandar Sunway on Sept 30.

“This year’s event is jointly organised with student groups from four different universities and colleges, namely Sunway University, Reliance College, Global Edu Training Centre and UCSI University,” said the association founder and president Franky See Swee Choy.
