REV ASIA SURGES AFTER NEWS OF SPECIAL DIVIDEND

PETALING JAYA: Rev Asia Bhd shares emerged as one of the top gainers yesterday with a surge of as much as 37.4% after it proposed a special dividend of 44 sen per share on Wednesday. At market close, the stock rose 21.5 sen or 29.3% to 95 sen on some 42.12 million shares done, being the fourth most actively traded stock. It has a market capitalisation of RM127.91 million. The entitlement date for the special dividend for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2017 is on Aug 16 and payable on Aug 28.
