Law career fair
ADVANCE Tertiary College (ATC) will be organising its annual event, the Legal Careers Fair on Aug 26 to kick-start the upcoming intakes for its Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP), University of London degree (LLB) and Cambridge A Levels programmes.
This year’s fair will see participation from renowned legal firms in Malaysia such as Shearn Delamore & Co, Zul Rafique & Partners, Raja Daryl and Loh, and Izral Partnership.
Each firm will be setting up their respective booths during the event where interested students will be able to discuss possible career opportunities, internship and/or pupillage positions. This meet-andgreet session is expected to provide aspiring lawyers an up close and personal view of what it takes to be in the legal realm.
The event is also expected to attract recruitment representatives from the corporate industry such as insurance companies, United Nations agencies, Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA) and Office Parrots, to provide a broader dimension to the event.
Students, alumni and interested members of the public are welcomed to attend the event. No entrance fee will be charged. The fair is aimed at providing much needed guidance to legal graduates on how they should make the best of their academic achievements and decide on a suitable and meaningful career path for themselves.
The fair will also highlight a preview on ATC’s CLP course from 12pm to 2pm. Registration for the CLP programme in both Kuala Lumpur and Penang campuses is currently in progress.
