Education scholarships
KUOK FOUNDATION Berhad has announced its yearly provision of scholarships and awards. These are open to Malaysian students studying at or applying to Malaysian and Singaporean public universities for full-time undergraduate studies in the academic year 2018/19.
Scholarships galore For those interested in applying into Malaysian public universities, there are the Kuok Keng Kang Scholarships, Wilmar Scholarships, Kuok Khoon Hong Scholarships, and Goh Ing Sing Agriculture Science Scholarships at Universiti Putra Malaysia all valued at RM15,000 per annum.
For Singaporean public universities, there are the Kuok Foundation Scholarship valued at RM85,000 per annum which is open only for freshmen who are recipients of the Singapore Ministry of Education Tuition Fee Grant, and Wilmar Scholarships valued at RM27,000 per annum.
Deserving candidates not selected for the above scholarships will be considered for the Kuok Foundation Loan-Grant Awards.
Value of the awards range from RM12,000 to RM14,000 per annum for Malaysian public universities, depending on the courses undertaken, and RM27,000 per annum for Singaporean public universities.
