Ayam steps up to support nation

-

DID you know that Malaysia’s favourite Ayam Brand is now 126 years old? For over a century, the beloved brand has adorned the racks of our hypermarkets, grocery and convenience stores and many of us would have grown up on its products, hence, Ayam’s natural response to contribute towards the nation’s “impaired kitty”.

Ayam Brand is pleased to join other Malaysians in contributing to the publiclyfunded Tabung Harapan. While its main aim is to aid in improving the nation’s fiscal health, the brand also aspires to inspire others to donate, inculcating patriotism among Malaysians.

“Tabung Harapan’s need is urgent, and the timing is perfect as Ramadan and Raya is a time for giving,” said Ayam Brand Malaysia strategic marketing adviser Nathan Deverre.

The initiative will see the nation’s favourite canned food producer contributing 2% from its total sales from participating retailers during the month of June, towards Tabung Harapan Malaysia. Therefore, consumers who purchase Ayam Brand products at participating retail outlets that include AEON Retail, AEON BiG, Econsave, Giant Hypermarket, Mydin Hypermarket, Pacific Hypermarket, Sunshine Square, TF Value-Mart and The Store, will be contributing to the fund, at no additional cost.

“Ayam Brand has been a part of Malaysian life for 126 years. It is natural for us to step up when there is a need. We are happy to support Malaysia,” said Nathan.

Some of the brand’s best sellers this festive season include Ayam Brand’s coconut milk, sardine in tomato sauce, pineapple chunks, sweet corn and a variety of tuna-based products. The long-time household brand of Malaysia is proud to offer canned food that is preservative-free, MSG-free and certified halal.
