HELD OVER RM3.5M FOOTBALL BETS

KUALA LUMPUR: Police arrested a 21-year-old man in Subang Jaya over online World Cup betting involving RM3.5 million. The suspect was detained at about 11.30pm on Sunday in a raid on an office. Police said betting transactions were done using several bank accounts and 1,527 individuals were found to be involved in the activity. – Bernama
