LOCAL band Leonard Theng & The Cerita ( right) is all set to woo audiences with a musical performance, Stories from a Mixtape, its homage to 80s music and lyrics on all about love!

This musical aims to capture the essence of teenage love in four acts – Can’t Fight This Feeling, The Power of Love, Shattered Dreams, and Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now – featuring hit songs from the 1980s performed by the group, and with Jiggee Jon narrating and acting out the storyline.

Leonard Theng & The Cerita first came together about two years ago with the goal of creating shows with a specific storyline and an emotional link to the audience.

The band comprises Theng (vocals/ guitar), James Boyd (keyboards), Sharon Chong (keyboards/vocals), Mizzie (lead guitar), Fly Halizor (bass), and Sudin (drums).
