PruBSN – Asia’s best Takaful company

BAGGING the Best Takaful Company in Asia award during the recent International Takaful Awards in London may have just added another feather to the Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad (PruBSN) cap.

But did you know that this attainment is among a few other awards the company secured in this year alone? Other accolades include the Editors’ Triple Star, Insurance Company of the Year and Best Takaful Institution at The Assets’ Triple A Institutional Investor & Insurance Awards in Hong Kong and Triple A Islamic Finance Awards in Malaysia.

Citing PruBSN’s holistic customercentric strategy and clear focus on quality of delivery and innovations, judges claimed these were the key differentiators that earned the Takaful operator its bevy of awards.

The company’s proactive efforts in making its products accessible to customers were also viewed to have complemented the Takaful and insurance market penetration in the country.

“These awards also allowed the spotlight to be placed on the continued innovation and development of the Takaful and insurance sector in Malaysia.

“I am thankful for the amazing support of our customers, staff, agents and partners who have put their trust in us,” Azman added.

Key initiatives that the judges took note of included PruBSN’s technological journey in providing e-solutions to its customers, such as the straight-through-processing mechanism that ensures certificate holders are able to receive coverage within minutes.

PruBSN also introduced PruBSN Touch, a digital platform that provides certificate holders with immediate access to their servicing needs.

These efforts further support the cause of green technology and is aligned with Bank Negara Malaysia’s aim in digitising financial services.

Other awards the company is proud to have attained this year were the coveted Gold at the 2018 APPIES Malaysia Award and a Silver for Best Idea Integrated Media at the 2018 MARKies Malaysia Award, recognising the marketing behind the PruBSN Anugerah brand.
