The brains of the Swift is a 7th Gen Intel Core processor with 8GB of LPDDR3 memory and 256GB PCIe SSD storage.

Its body is an all-black unibody aluminium shell, and its screen is a 14in Full HD IPS display. There is also an HD 720p webcam with HDR support at the top.

The second product is the Acer Switch 7 Black Edition (RM6,999). Touted as the world’s first fanless 2-in-1 laptop with discrete graphics, it uses Acer’s proprietary Dual LiquidLoop fanless cooling technology to regulate internal temperature.

Considering its size, the specifications of the Switch 7 Black Edition are impressive. The processor is an 8th Gen Intel Core i7 paired with an Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphics. It also has a 13.5in QHD IPS display.

Acer also announced it will release 50 units of its white with gold trim Predator Helios 300 (available in mid-August at RM6,199) into the Malaysian market. This special edition gaming laptop comes with a matching Predator gaming backpack, earphones, gaming mouse, and mousepad.

Meanwhile, from now to Sept 30, those who purchase selected Acer devices will get a gift, ranging from a gaming chair to Bluetooth speakers.
