MAHDZIR NOT DETAINED

PUTRAJAYA: Former education minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid left the MACC headquarters here after more than eight hours of questioning in relation to a solar project in Sarawak. The Umno vicepresident left the building at 6.15pm. Initially, MACC reported that he was expected to be detained overnight before being charged today for graft. However, Mahdzir, who is Padang Terap MP, was allowed to leave after questioning.
