Intelligent Integration connects vehicles to the wider society. “Nissan is helping to shape a sustainable ecosystem by enabling our vehicles to interact with people, other cars and road infrastructure.

This approach will eventually lead to remote vehicle operation, reduced traffic jams, more efficient car-sharing, and

improved energy management.” Nissan’s major exhibit at KLIMS18 is the zero-emission new Nissan Leaf EV. Nissan says the Leaf offers the most advanced e-powertrain; with its new 40kWh lithiumion battery pack, the new Leaf delivers an “astonishing” driving range up to 400km (Japan JC08 cycle**) on a single charge, and outputs 110kW of power and 320Nm of torque, improving acceleration and driver enjoyment.

**150 miles (241.4km) with US Environmental Protection Agency, 380km with New European Driving Cycle.

This EV also features ProPilot autonomous driving technology – used during single-lane driving on the highway, and the e-pedal, which allows the driver the simplicity of accelerating, decelerating, stopping and even holding the car’s position, by using the accelerator pedal alone.

“Nissan Intelligent Mobility is more than Nissan’s approach to changing the way cars are driven, powered and integrated into society. It is Nissan’s corporate strategy that embodies the Nissan brand, and Tan Chong Group is making big investments towards a more connected, safer, environmentallyfriendly and electrified mobility future for Malaysia,” said ETCM sales and marketing director Christopher Tan.

At KLIMS18, ETCM is also showcasing the Nissan Serena S-Hybrid, Navara - Black Series, X-Trail X-Tremer, and the new Nissan Almera - Black Series.
