MANCHESTER City got back on track as the Premier League champions swept to a 3-0 win against woeful Arsenal, while Tottenham maintained their revival under Jose Mourinho with a dramatic 2-1 victory at Wolves yesterday.

City’s masterclas­s in north London and Jan Vertonghen’s last-gasp winner for Tottenham shared the spotlight on a day when Manchester United’s teenage striker Mason Greenwood rescued a 1-1 draw against Everton.

Kevin De Bruyne scored twice and teed up Raheem Sterling for City’s other goal as Arsenal crumbled to another humiliatin­g home defeat.

De Bruyne was unplayable in the first half, thumping home a side-footed opener from outside the area and then making it 3-0 with a silky finish just before halftime.

He was denied a hattrick before the break when his curler was tipped acrobatica­lly against the post by Arsenal keeper Bernd Leno.

The Belgian also provided the assist for Raheem Sterling’s goal.

“Kevin sees situations and passes that others don’t,”

Guardiola said. “He makes incredible goals and it’s an incredible victory after what has happened and our position.”
