POLICE TO ACT AGAINST CIVIL SERVANTS ON DRUGS

KUALA LUMPUR: The police will conduct a special operation called “Operation Libero Purus” to nab civil servants believed to be involved in drugs. Bukit Aman Narcotics CID director Datuk Mohd Khalil Kader Mohd said official notificati­on on the operation was sent to all heads of government department­s and agencies who will be required to list names of their personnel believed to be involved in drugs. Once police receive the lists, urine tests to determine if the civil servants are on drugs will be conducted before any followup action is taken, he said. – Bernama
