Sports Toto extends closure of outlets

PETALING JAYA: Sports Toto Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Sports Toto) will continue to suspend operations until April 14, in line with Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s announceme­nt yesterday on the extension of the movement control order (MCO).

Sports Toto said their head office, sales offices and sales outlets will be closed nationwide during this period, and there will be no Toto draws on March 18, 21, 22, 25, 28, 29 and April 1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 11 and 12.

“Advance purchases of the affected draws are rendered null and void. Customers who have made advanced purchases can get a refund from our sales outlets after the MCO is lifted,” the company said in a statement.

It also stated that no refunds will be entertaine­d after June 15.

“No prize claims will be processed during this period. Prizes can be claimed after the end of the MCO,“the statement said.
