Man who prostituted wife, daughter pleads guilty
PETALING JAYA: A 43-year-old lorry driver pleaded guilty to two charges of prostituting his wife and their 13-year-old daughter.
The Klang sessions court yesterday set Aug 19 to obtain the facts of the case.
On the first count, he was charged with sexually exploiting his wife, 37, at a water treatment plant and a condominium unit at No. 2, Batu 9 in Cheras between January 2015 and May 2019.
The charge was framed under Section 13(b) of the AntiTrafficking in Persons and AntiSmuggling of Migrants Act 2007, which provides for imprisonment of up to 20 years and a fine.
He was also charged with sexually exploiting his daughter at the same condominium unit from January 2019 until last February.
The charge, under Section 14 of the same law, also provides a similar punishment upon conviction.
The accused, who was unrepresented, was denied bail.
Sessions court judge Datuk Ahmad Zamzani Mohd Zain fixed Aug 19 for the case to be mentioned.
The lorry driver is expected to be charged under Section 376(3) and Section 376(2) of the Penal Code for rape and incest. He was arrested last month in Kajang.
Three Pakistanis and a Bangladeshi aged between 29 and 35, who were the clients, are expected to be charged under Section 376(3) and Section 376(2) of the Penal Code for statutory rape.
On July 11, the girl’s aunt lodged a police report against the girl’s biological father after learning that he had allegedly raped his young daughter and prostituted her at a condominium in Hulu Langat.
Police investigations found the man had brought more than 20 men, mainly foreigners, to have sex with his daughter and then pocketed the takings.
The assaults began three years ago when the suspect raped his daughter, who was then aged 10.
