o McDonald’s Prosperity Burger returns for the 28th year, bringing smiles and joy to fans
MCDONALD’S MALAYSIA made a very special visit yesterday to the Sun’s office in Petaling Jaya to deliver the recently launched Prosperity Burger, which makes its return just in time for the festive season.
theSun executive director Adam Ong was the first to receive the Chicken Prosperity Burger on behalf of the staff from McDonald’s Malaysia corporate communication manager Afni Adnan, along with a Blueberry Cream Cheese Pie.
Afni explained that the Sun was among the first members of the media to get a taste of the highlyanticipated burger, ahead of its arrival in McDonald’s outlets nationwide today.
The Prosperity Burger is a 28-yearold tradition for McDonald’s Malaysia, and has been a staple in Malaysians’ lives since its introduction in 1994. The burger is a favourite among locals who have long enjoyed its signature peppery taste with their choice of chicken or beef patties topped with fresh onions, all between a classic sesame seed bun.
As one of Malaysia’s key homegrown menu items, the Prosperity Burger continues to be one of McDonald’s Malaysia’s proudest creations, having gained an international following in Taiwan, South Korea and Hong Kong.
As during previous years, the Prosperity Burger can be purchase ala carte, or as a set meal together with perfectly seasoned Twister Fries and a refreshing Prosperity McFizz. It will be available for a limited time only at all McDonald’s restaurants nationwide.
Chances to win exciting prizes
To add more excitement to the return of the Prosperity Burger, McDonald’s Malaysia will be activating the Scan & Win Gifts of Prosperity Contest from now to Jan 5, 2022.
To participate in the content, customers will need to purchase a Prosperity Burger and scan the QR code displayed on the burger wrapper.
They will then be taken to a website where they will need to key in their details and attach a picture of their McDonald’s receipt to prove their purchase, and they will instantly be in the running to win.
Prizes include popular food items such as a free Sundae Cone, Apple Pie, McChicken or McCafe Iced Latte.
The more Prosperity Burgers you buy, the higher your chances are for winning the Grand Prize.
Among the Grand Prizes to be won are a Proton X70, three Samsung 55in TVs, three Samsung S21+ smartphones, five Dyson Purifiers, five Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 devices, five Garmin Venu S2 Watches and five Bose Soundlink Micro Bluetooth Speakers.
