More meaningful with Toyota’s ‘Kota Raya’

UMW Toyota Motor recently launched its 2022 Ramadan/Hari Raya campaign with the theme “Bersama Lebih Bermakna”.

Continuing the celebratio­n nationwide, Toyota has released its Hari Raya Aidilfitri film “Kota Raya”.

Inspired by the importance of family, especially with the travel restrictio­ns Malaysians had to endure these past two years, “Kota Raya” highlights the struggles of millennial­s in the city.

“Our deeply-rooted sense of family and togetherne­ss made the inability to celebrate together that much harder,” says the company.

“Thus, many are looking forward to spending valuable, quality time together with family.”

The film stars Aedy Ashraf as “Aidil” and Amerul Afendi as “Fitri” and also features a special appearance by Toyota Gazoo Racing and Toyota Yaris ambassador, Janna Nick as

Aqilah.

“Kota Raya” was up for viewing on April 26, via YouTube and other social media platforms.

UMW Toyota Motor president Ravindran K said: “Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebratio­ns this year will definitely be more joyful as everyone will have the opportunit­y to ‘balik kampung.’ We at Toyota are looking forward to welcoming our customers to all our service centres, as they bring in their cars for servicing, prior to making the journey back to their kampungs. It is important to be with family during times like these and since there has been no ‘balik kampung’ exodus for the past two years, it will be wonderful to see everyone with their families once again.”

In conjunctio­n with the “Bersama Lebih Bermakna” celebratio­ns, all Toyota enthusiast­s are invited to take part in the ‘Pandu Uji dan Menang Duit Raya’ contest, available from now till May 1.

Each test drive qualifies the driver to take part in the

contest and win

some “duit raya” worth RM100, while a test drive resulting in a successful booking will entitle the soon-to-be Toyota owner a chance to receive RM200 “duit raya”.

A total of 30 winners will be selected weekly.

Bringing their “Bersama Lebih Bermakna” festivitie­s closer to their customers, UMW Toyota Motor hosted their Ramadan Weekender at all their outlets recently. More than 4,000 Toyota customers enjoyed great Ramadan deals along with other

value-added offers at Toyota showrooms nationwide.

The excitement of the upcoming Aidilfitri celebratio­ns can already be felt by the many visitors, marking this as one of the many post-pandemic celebratio­ns this year.
