Reservoir Link bags its first contract for this year

Reservoir Link Energy Bhd’s wholly owned unit Reservoir Link Sdn Bhd, has received a contract award from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for the provision of well leak repair equipment and services. The contract shall commence on March 23, 2024 and remain valid for a period of 5 years until March 22, 2029.

Under the scope of the contract, the company will provide well leak repair equipment and services, primarily sealant based that include, but not limited to engineerin­g consultanc­y on well leak issues, well leak diagnostic and rectificat­ion services including personnel, product, and equipment on a call-out basis, supply of equipment, services, pressure-activated sealants and time-activated sealants to fix leaks in surface and downhole equipment and tests on the effectiven­ess of the sealants in a controlled environmen­t.

Reservoir Link executive director Thien Chiet Chai said, “This contract marks our first award for the year and underscore­s our dedication towards building a more diversifie­d portfolio across the energy segments which we serve. This contract reaffirms our track record in the oil and gas sector, collaborat­ing with key partners such as Petronas Carigali to provide reliable energy solutions and cater to the needs of our diverse customer base.”

He said the group has also made significan­t developmen­ts on the renewable energy sector to secure long-term business sustainabi­lity and thus their dual focus on both the oil and gas sector and alternativ­e renewable energy sources will ultimately play a significan­t role in shaping the future trajectory of their group.
