WHAT IS IT… A chocolate boutique shop in Isetan The Japan Store that specialises in bean-to-bar chocolate using beans from Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia. Making the most from the quality beans is Chef Shunsuke Saegusa, the man behind one of Japan’s most revered chocolateries, Palet D’Or, who has crafted a range of chocolate bars, bonbons and cakes. TRY THIS… Smooth, intense and complex, the dark chocolate bars (containing 72 percent cacao) made here rival some of Europe’s best. There’s also a range of chocolate bonbons that range from classic flavours like strawberry, passion fruit and mango, to the more exotic Asian flavours like sakura, yuzu and Sarawak pepper.
