Fun N Cheer Warehouse
Fun N Cheer Warehouse stocks some of the best Christmas decorations at reasonable prices. Some outlets literally operate from a large warehouse where you can find all sorts of festive knick-knacks that cost no more than RM10 per item – think tinsels, baubles, LED lighting, miniature snowmen and more. Also available are artificial Christmas trees that are made with fibre optic LED threads. Because of how affordable it is to shop here, the hordes flock to the outlets every year to get last minute shopping done, so jostling with the crowd is imminent if you visit close to Christmas Day.

Need a new set of tableware to impress your dinner guests? Have a glance at the table setting look books for ideas. The themes range from the classic and elaborate ‘Blue Christmas’, featuring Spode’s Blue Italian line of tableware, to the minimalist-inspired Golden Accent collection that’s all about white dishes paired with gold-dusted ornaments (complete with glittery branches as a table centerpiece). All tableware can be bought separately so you can mix and match items to suit your taste.

If you’re ready to brave the mad crowds at IKEA, you can probably get all your Christmas supplies in one go. Start with the realistic-looking FEJKA artificial trees that are priced from RM129 for a 155cm tree, RM249 (180cm) and RM499 (200cm) before moving on to Christmas baubles (RM39.90 for a set of 45). There’s also an extensive catalogue of Christmas-themed kitchenware and tableware like reindeershaped baking moulds, plates, napkins, aprons and decorative lighting. The only other downside apart from the crowds? Your friends may have exactly the same things.

Floristika is the go-to place to get a live Christmas tree on the spot. The Noble fir trees sold here range from four to ten feet tall so you have ample options to choose from to fit your space. A stand will be provided once you’ve picked your tree; and if you haven’t gotten around to buying decorations, you can opt to have yours decorated for a small service fee.
