120 units of the Mit­subishi’s seven-seat SUV en­hanced with bet­ter looks and fea­tures

Mo­tors Malaysia (MMM) broke its long si­lence in the new car scene when it re­leased the Out­lander Sports Edi­tion re­cently. It is es­sen­tially a spe­cial edi­tion model based on the Out­lander 2.0 4WD with a pro­duc­tion limit of just 120 units.

The Sports Edi­tion is dressed up in a dual-tone colour scheme com­ple­mented by a black front grille, gloss black al­loy wheels, and an ‘Out­lander’ hood em­blem. The cabin is dressed up with a dual DVD en­ter­tain­ment unit and red ac­cent car­pet mats.

Th­ese add-ons en­hance a pack­age which al­ready in­cludes LED day­time run­ning lights, leather seats, all-round mon­i­tor, key­less en­try and a seven-inch touch­screen in­fo­tain­ment sys­tem as stan­dard. As be­fore, the en­gine makes 143bhp/196Nm which is de­liv­ered to all four wheels via a CVT gear­box.

The Mit­subishi Out­lander Sports Edi­tion is priced at RM142,888, in­clu­sive of a five-year, un­lim­ited-mileage warranty.
