THE SCANDINAVIAN STRIKES BACK
Volvo Singapore officially launched the all-new S90 sedan here in Singapore. Held at Keppel Bay Vista, the unveiling of the S90 sedan was officiated by Henrik Jarlebratt, Senior Director of Product and Revenue for Asia Pacific, Jonathan Disley, Vice President of Design Asia Pacific and Jari Koho-nen, Sales Director Asia Pacific.
The S90 is a premium sedan from the Scandinavian company, the latest in line to replace its aging S80 sedan. Wearing the SPA (Scalable Product Architecture), the S90 is based on the same modu-lar chassis as the XC90. It shares many traits with its award-winning SUV, such as industry-leading safety, great space and even the interior.
The S90 looks set to challenge the likes of its German rivals, the Mercedes-benz E-class, the BMW 5 Series and the Audi A6. At launch time, it is priced was $239,999 SGD.
