That’s how many hours it took to make this de­cep­tively sim­ple Gior­gio Ar­mani dress, which Princess Char­lene of Monaco later wore to walk down the aisle. About 2,500 hours were spent turn­ing over 130m of silk into the main dress frame, while an­other 700 hours were used to em­broi­der over 90,000 crys­tals, stones and pearls to the dress. The rea­son for the length of time? Ev­ery sin­gle stitch and em­bel­lish­ment was hand-sewn.
