Four-shade eye palettes to create the glam look
GO FOR GOLD
Paris Jackson’s gold smokey eye look at the 2018 MOSCHINO x H&M Fashion Show was created to match her gold chained leopard dress, but for a more wearable version, turn to the CHANEL Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow in 274 Codes Elegants, RM235. Use a wet brush to create a harsh blend with the gold, and as always, use a clean fluffy brush to blend around the crease.
IN THE NUDE
Brown smokey eyes like the one seen on Zendaya looks amazing on just about anyone. Using the Givenchy Prisme Quatuor in N1 Caresse, RM261, apply darker tones on the outer corners of the eye, working your way inwards with the medium shades. Then, dab on the lightest shades on the inner corners to really make your peepers pop. Working the look with a fluffy brush will make it easy for you to blend out the eye shadow pigments for a gorgeous neutral lid.
CYAN TIFICALLY PROVEN
Deepika Padukone is no stranger to the statement of bold makeup and we are huge fans of this cyan colour combo. Slightly wet your eye brush with setting spray before adding on the NARS Quad Eyeshadow in Moskova, RM185. For the eyelids, keep it simple with the medium green and light green or with a mixture with the light blue. To balance out this bottom-heavy look, don’t forget to apply mascara after!
PRETTY IN PINK
The sweet pink spotted here on Hailey Baldwin can be intimidating, but the Cyber Colors Mix & Match Eyeshadow Palette (06 Classic Ruby), RM150, features natural pink hues suitable for Asian skin tones. The gradation on Hailey’s lids are subtle – start with a lighter pink on the inner corners of the eye and work outwards with a darker shade. At any point, if you feel the colours are too bright, add a neutral brown to dull the tone down.
Wearing one of the hottest eye shadow trends, Lady Gaga’s deep-set eyes show off silver perfectly. Using the colours from Shiseido Essentialist Eye Shadow in 04 Kaigan Street Waters, RM170, line both the upper and lower lash lines with the darkest shade to define the eyes. Then, add the shimmer silver tone on the eyelids and blend with a clean brush.
Emma Stone’s stunning eye look can be recreated with the Avon True Color Eyeshadow Quad in Jeans, RM26.55. Line the blue on the lower lash line from the inner corner to the middle and bring the ends up with a darker blue. Blend the eyelids along with the nude colour to form a natural contrast. For colours that really pop, we recommend a base layer of the Avon Mark. Magix Prep & Set Spray, RM35.90.
