Actavis supports employees in sporting events
Actavis Ltd is once again supporting its employees in their national sporting activities.
It will be backing triathlete Michelle Vella Wood in Ironman Kalmar Sweden 2012. Michelle has been named national individual time trial champion 2012 after competing in a series of events and she also recently won the final race of the Malta Cycling Federation season.
Actavis is also sponsoring Oana Caruana Pulpan, a member of the Maltese Women’s National Chess Team, who will be heading to Istanbul in August to compete in the World Chess Olympiad as part of The Malta Chess Federation contingent. Oana was introduced to chess by her father at a tender age and has also taken part in the Turin and Dresden Chess Olympiads.
This sponsorship is in line with Actavis’ corporate social responsibility for helping people in cultural or sporting events.
