The Floyd campaign
The Floyd Campaign is a philanthropic initiative to help cats and dogs in need. The campaign is managed by Pink Panther Productions and Borg Cardona & Co. Ltd. During the first year, in 2014, The Floyd campaign raised a total of €10,550. Funds were distributed among animal shelters in Malta and Gozo and registered cat feeders. Funds are paid by Borg Cardona & Co. Ltd with great help from their main sponsors. The campaign is organised and supported by Borg Cardona & Co. Ltd in collaboration with Royal Canin, Biokat’s Cat Litter and Lindo Cat Litter.
Despite that the campaign is still ongoing, the company has already donated a total of €9,460 in the Floyd Campaign Fund. The aim of this campaign is to improve animal welfare in general especially the well-being of cats and dogs currently residing in sanctuaries and shelters and other stray cats and dogs which are found abandoned in the streets.
How does it work?
When buying from the range of products which have The Floyd Campaign sticker, automatically a contribution of 5 cents is made for every kilo purchased. The donation is paid by the sponsors at no extra cost to the customer.
All those who have animal welfare at heart are to support and help the purpose of the Floyd campaign by spreading the word and by buying pet food and cat litter with The Floyd Campaign sticker.
