Global College Malta holds Christmas and Fitness event in aid of Puttinu Cares

-

Global College Malta transformed SmartCity Malta into an enchanted yet vibrant Christmas venue on 6 December.

A family-fun packed day all in aid of Puttinu Cares, the event was energised by well renowned DJ Pierre Cordina. GCM’s ambassador Ivan Grech – lead singer of Winter Moods, and former athlete champion Xandru Grech joined our Team for the day, making this a truly unforgettable experience for those who wanted to take photos with these personalities.

Families and also couples of all ages were entertained throughout the event by popular singers that filled the air with joyful songs. Crowd-puller Janvil was a popular hit amongst the audience that joyfully and spontaneously sang along with the spirited singer.

Food and wine stalls and other Christmas related market stands were more than busy on the day, with hundreds admiring the various hand-made artisan artefacts available on sale. Others enjoyed munching homemade cookies and Christmas decorated pastries while sipping a hot beverage. Adults turned into children on the day as soon as they saw petting-animals on display such as a Lama, a donkey and various bunnies of all sizes and adult rabbits around the area. Children bounced around in the bouncy castle while their parents tried out their luck to win some of the €3,500 worth of prizes given away on the day, thanks to a number of local companies who heartily sponsored gifts.

Without a doubt, Global College Malta is ever grateful to everyone who made this event a success, helping us reach our aim of gathering a lovely sum to donate to the purpose of this fun day: Puttinu Cares. We can proudly say that with your help and the help of everyone who participated, we have managed to raise a lovely sum of €2,545 for Puttinu Cares.

The College hopes to double this amount next year and we are more than certain that we can bank on your enthusiasm once again when the time comes.
