The Institute of Creative Arts end-of-year exhibition

-

MCAST’s Institute of Creative Arts end-of-year exhibition will be inaugurated 30 June.

The aim of the Creative Arts end-of-year exhibition is to showcase and celebrate the works of the students and to present the institute as an artistic hub for the formation of upcoming artists.

There will be 11 stands covering the spectrum of departments at the Institute namely Fine Arts, Design, Photography, Media, Game Art, Graphic Design, Performing Arts and Interactive Media, covering a wide range of skills from Foundation to Degree students. The opening ceremony will be held on Thursday, 30 June at the Institute in Targa Gap, Mosta after which the exhibition will be open to the public until Tuesday, 5 July (weekend included) from 9am to 10pm.

For the first time this year this annual tradition has grown by adding another layer to it, whereby each evening will be dedicated to a particular department. The evening activities will also cover a wide range of interactive events including networking sessions with industry, workshops, conferences, performances and public lectures by local and international experts.

Entitled Leave a mark, the logo highlights the event by showing that it is a space where students can leave a mark, or in other words, artistically mark their growth through art.

The event is being supported by The Malta Arts Council, Enemalta, Consolidated Biscuits, Banif Bank, The Ministry of Education, The Ministry for Social Security, DAB Electronica, The National Aquarium, Nexos Lighting, JB stores, Continental Cars, Doneo, Polidano Press, The Palace Hotel, The Radisson Hotel, Ideas Alive, Vee Gee Bee, Malta Tourism Authority, Kaless, RVC, Avantech, Shaker, Mediterranean Building Finishes, Fondazzjoni Kreattivita’ and Elektra.
