Ganado Advocates launches Project Anew
Law firm Ganado Advocates has launched Project Anew – an initiative designed to assist young entrepreneurs bring their business ideas to fruition.
The project is aimed at attracting start-ups that are led by young people who are determined to transform their innovative business idea, product or service into a reality. The firm will be providing free legal advice for a period of time to be determined on a case-by-case basis to those individuals who qualify for the scheme.
An internal committee – consisting of lawyers from the firm’s various practice areas – has been appointed specifically for the purpose of this initiative. Its main function is to evaluate proposals received, choose qualifying projects and ensure that beneficiaries make the most of the opportunity that the firm has presented to them by way of this initiative.
“We want to help young potential entrepreneurs who have never had a business of their own, get started”, said Ganado managing partner Louis Cassar. “Apart from free legal advice, we are also presenting opportunities for networking – both locally as well as internationally – which is normally missing and which we feel is vital for businesses that are just starting up.”
