Labour women praise budget
Labour Women (NL) President Claudette Abela Baldacchino said that the budget is one that looks towards those struggling, offering opportunities to improve their quality of life.
NL called for the quick introduction of measures for parents being able to use up sick leave to take care of their children and for some form of initiative to ban smoking in a car when children are inside, also praising government for initiatives that allows leave for those receiving cancer treatment.
They also said that social measures in the areas relating to pensions, disability and others will continue to strengthen families, as well as the situation for women.
