Juninho Cabral scored a second half hat-trick to put back Senglea on the winning track after their derby defeat against Vittoriosa in their last outing.
Fgura gave a good account of themselves, but were still no match for a Senglea side determined to grab the points at all cost.
Senglea dominated the first half but had little to show apart from the well taken goal that put them in front half way through the first period. Although Senglea had more possession from the initiial whistle, Fgura had the first chances with Okpokwu having two attempts slightly missing the target.
On 17 minutes Terence Vella passed towards the unmarked Juninho Cabral who was foiled by a daring Bartolo sortie. Five minutes later Senglea took the lead when from a Da Sousa Dias corner, Keith Tanti headed powerfully home.
On 66 minutes Juninho Cabral inaugurated his scoring festival when he headed home another well taken corner by De Sousa Dias. Ten minutes later Cabral was on the mark again when he lobbed beutifully home over the Fgura
goalkeeper, and two minutes from time Cabral obtained his hat trick when he headed powerfully home a Hubert Vella cross from the right.
