Student Offers from Bank of Valletta
Bank of Valletta has just revealed the BOV Club package for 2017. Intended as a stepping stone for students progressing from secondary to tertiary level of education, the BOV Club Package encapsulates the basic banking solutions one would require, along with a suite of welcome offers that students are entitled to when joining BOV Club or renewing their membership.
“Students are at a very important junction, not only in their studies, but also in their personal lives,” explained Karl Spiteri, BOV Head responsible for the BOV Club Package. “They are at a point, when they are taking on personal responsibility for their future, including the financial one. That is why we have designed BOV Club to be an introductory offer for young students who are banking for the first time.”
Among the key benefits included in the Package, there is the BOV Student eAccount which offers easy accessibility along with a higher rate of interest and unsecured student loans with no processing fees. This offer also includes the free life cover that the Bank is offering with all new personal financing applications. Selfservice banking solutions include a BOV Visa Classic or BOV MasterCard with a credit limit of EUR500, fee-free for the first year. The BOV 24x7 Services suite is also included fee-free for the first year.
A broad spectrum of welcome gifts are up for grabs for those students who choose to join BOV Club. These include heavy discounts on Urbanista Melbourne Speaker, Urbanista Seattle Corded Headphones, Remingon Airplate Straightener, Remington We Tech Body Trimmer, Remington Straight Brush and Nutribullet 600 Series. Alternatively students may opt for a €50 voucher redeemable from selected retailers including EuroSport, Animal, Bata, Agenda Bookshop, TerraNova and Guess. In order to be eligible, students need to be studying on a full-time basis, and moving from secondary to post-secondary institution, or post-secondary to University of Malta.
The BOV Club Package is more than a financial package. It is intended to be a platform via which students can engage with the Bank throughout their years of study. To this effect the Bank has a dedicated Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/bovclubmt/ as well as a BOV Club portal https://www.bov.com/bov-club which outlines the main benefits and features of the BOV Club membership as well as relative FAQs*.
The BOV Club team has a key role to play. The members focus on supporting students and helps them in their choice. The BOV Cub team visits schools and educational institutions, meeting students attending induction courses to support them by explaining the features included in the package as well as the benefits. BOV Club team members will be meeting students on the 12th July at Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary School.
Students interested in joining BOV Club may request further information or download the application from www.bov.com. One may also apply online, thereby becoming eligible to win a BOV Mastercard Prepaid Card set worth EUR375.
