Marseille president confirms interest in Moussa Dembele
Marseille president JacquesHenri Eyraud has admitted interest in signing Celtic star Moussa Dembele.
The France Under-21 international is reported to have attracted attention from a number of sides across Europe after an outstanding campaign for Celtic in 2016-17.
The forward, who is sidelined with a hamstring injury, scored 32 goals in all competitions as Brendan Rodgers' side claimed the domestic treble without losing a match.
Eyraud has confirmed Marseille are considering a move for Chelsea striker Diego Costa but has outlined other possible targets, which include Dembele and Porto's Vincent Aboubakar.
"I can't guarantee anything on what is a sensitive, difficult subject," he told SFR Sport. "We are indeed actively looking for an attacker.
"He is a young player, with power, speed, he's athletic. He's an interesting player.
"Since I started, I've tried to avoid speaking for the coach or the sporting director. I have my ideas, I express them, but I'm not speaking for the coach.
"The names mentioned are in- teresting, but there are others."
On Aboubakar, who has scored four goals in three games in Portugal's top flight this term, he added: "He's a powerful, athletic guy. He's a very interesting player."
