Spot the BOV Club Bus and win

-

This year’s BOV Club campaign has taken to the roads – literally.

A public transport bus has been branded with this year’s colourful imagery and has added some colour to Malta’s roads.

The BOV Club bus is linked to a competition which the bank is currently running on its BOV Club Facebook Page. The general public is encouraged to keep an eye out for the bus, take a photograph of it and send the image with their details to the bank on its Facebook Page.

Every week, a random name is drawn up, and the winner receives a €100 voucher from Eurosport Malta. The terms and conditions of the competition are available on the bank’s BOV Club page on www.bov.com

Speaking about the initiative, Charles Azzopardi, Executive PR & Marketing at Bank of Valletta explained, “BOV Club is a package of services that is specifically designed for students furthering their studies at post-secondary level, or moving on to University. This coincides with the time when they start receiving a stipend and therefore is generally the point when they open their first account and start banking. Club members receive various benefits in relation to the services offered, such as the BOV Student eAccount, unsecured student loans with no processing fees and selfservice banking solutions including a BOV Visa Classic or BOV MasterCard, fee-free for the first year. In addition, a range of welcome offers is being made available to first-time BOV Club members.”

“We chose the bus and our Facebook Page as the focal points of this competition, because both elements are very much present in the typical student life. In this manner, we wanted to incorporate the fun element of the competition whilst raising awareness about the BOV Club package which is intended to ease students’ introduction to the world of everyday banking,” Mr Azzopardi explained.

This promotional campaign, which will run until the 27 October, has already garnered considerable interest among participants.

Students are being encourage to apply to join BOV Club through the bank’s website. A full set of BOV Mastercard Prepaid Cards, worth €375, will be won by one of the students who apply to join BOV Club online.

The BOV Club team is visiting campuses to answer any student queries during open days.

Further information about the BOV Club Package or the incentives currently underway can be found on the Bank’s Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/bovclubmt/ or the BOV Club portal https://www.bov.com/bov-club.
