Malta ladies cruise to easy win over U.A.E
The Malta Women’s national football team easily cruised to a 40 win over the United Arab Emirates in a friendly international match played at the Centenary Stadium, yesterday afternoon.
Clearly in command from the very first whistle, Mark Gatt’s Malta team surged to a 3-0 halftime lead from a brace from captain Dorienne Theuma, who enjoyed a fine match, together with Anderlecht Dames’ playmaker Rachel Cuschieri who too was in blazing form for the locals. Jade Flask made it 3-0 just before half-time.
The locals added another goal at the change of ends through Raina Giusti to make the score 4-0.
