Eugenio Borg was Easter trap trophy
Eugenio Borg won the Easter Shoot Trap competition at the Southern Shooting Club, an event that was organised over two days with three qualification rounds of 25 clay targets each on Saturday and another two rounds being shot on Sunday.
Borg was accompanied on the podium by Frank Scorfna and Raymond Micallef, who finished in second and in third place respectively.
The six Finalists in the Bib number order according to their qualification scores were;
Stephen Vella 101/125, Eugenio Borg 99+1/125, Frank Scorfna 99+0/125, Nicky Carabott 95/125, Angel Ciappara 94/125 and Raymond Micallef 92/125
The official overall results were: 1st Eugenio Borg 18/25 + 3/5 + 3/5 + 3/5 + 8/10, total score 35/50
2nd Frank Scorfna 19/25 + 3/5 + 2/5 + 2/5 + 7/10, total score 33/50
3rd Raymond Micallef 17/25 + 2/5 + 4/5 + 1/5, total score 24/40
4th Nicky Carabott 17/25 + 4/5 + 1/5, total score 22/35
5th Angel Ciappara 15/25 + 3/5, total score 18/30
6th Stephen Vella 14/25, total score 14/25
The top shooters in their respective classes concluded Sunday’s qualification rounds with the following scores:
