Viola Club Malta members celebrate 50th Anniversary in Florence
A group of seventeen persons, including members of the Viola Club Malta with some of their relatives are leaving for Florence next Thursday, 12th April.
They are having a seven-day holiday, but at the same time they will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Viola Club.
In fact, they are going to carry with them the streamer (banner) of the Club, which they will fix on the terraces of the Artemio Franchi Stadium before the matches which they will be watching, which are Fiorentina vs. Spal on Sunday, 15th May and Fiorentina vs. Lazio on Wednesday, 18th May.
In Florence, they will be meeting ACF Fiorentina Officials, who are Ing. Gino Salica (Vice President) and ex-Fiorentina legendary player Giancarlo Antognoni (Club Manager). Then they will meet the Associazione Centro Coordinamento Viola Club Officials who are Giuseppe Urso (Honorary President), Filippo Pucci (President) and Marina Mercheri (Co-ordinator of the 50th Anniversary of our Viola Club).
They will be giving more information to Moreno Roggi (Vice President and ex-Fiorentina player) of the Associazione Glorie Viola about the football charity match in aid of Puttinu Cares between a team composed of exFiorentina players and ex-Maltese National players of the Masters Football Malta at the Ta' Qali Centenary Stadium on Sunday, 27th May 2018 at 18.00 hrs.
Entrance will be free but a donation to Puttinu Cares would be much appreciated.
Mr. Darren Micallef (Executive President) of our Viola Club will be handing over the invitations to the officials concerned. The Executive President and the Committee members of the Viola Club Malta are inviting a group of persons of the above mentioned Florentine Associations to join in the focus of the celebrations of the 50th Anniversary in Malta between Saturday 26th and Tuesday, 29th May 2018.
On their return to Malta, the Viola Club Malta Officials will be holding a press conference so that more details about the celebrations of this Anniversary will be given to the public.
VIOLA CLUB MALTA EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING
An Extraordinary General Meeting for all the members of the Viola Club Malta and supporters of ACF Fiorentina is going to be held at the St. Anthony's Band Club of B'Kara on Sunday, 22nd April 2018 at 10.30 a.m.

VIOLA CLUB MALTA ACTIVITY FOR APRIL
The Committee of the Viola Club Malta is organising an activity during this month of April.
The activity consists in watching the Serie A football match between Fiorentina and Napoli on a big screen at St. Anthony's Band Club - B'Kara and afterwards enjoy a Pasta Night.
This activity is going to held on Sunday, 29th April 2018 at 17.30 hrs.
All members and supporters of ACF Fiorentina are cordially invited to attend.
