Teenager needs surgery after being bitten by dog
A teenager suffered severe bite injuries to his legs when he was attacked by a dog in Cospicua on Monday morning.
The incident took place at about 5.30am when the boy took out a garbage bag at Triq San Ġwann.
He was taken to hospital and underwent surgery. The dog behind the attack is allegedly a pit bull terrier.
The police are investigating.
