Man dies after swimming difficulties at Armier Bay

A man died after finding himself in difficulty while swimming yesterday morning at Armier Bay, the police said. The police were notified of the incident at around 11.45am.

A medical team from Mater Dei Hospital went on site to provide assistance but the man died later in hospital.

The police are still to establish the man’s identity.

Magistrate Donatella Frendo Dimech is conducting an inquiry.
