Sunday is about youth innovation
blockchain.
The debate will also cover artificial intelligence and its impact on youth jobs. We found that such a topic was not adequately addressed. However many fear the eventuality when they would be replaced by machines that run cheaper and come without any demands to the employer. Progress cannot be stopped, neither innovation, however some discussions still need to be had. As one would expect, bitcoin and blockchain will also be discussed. Dr Joshua Ellul from the University of Malta who is specialized in Blockchain and Dylan Seychell who is specialized in artificial intelligence will be joining us on the day and help facilitate the discussion.
Last but not least, after last year’s success, the gamers’ corner will also be back, with prizes to be won.
I’ll end on this note, this Sunday, when you come back from family lunch or the beach, head to Valletta to KNZ’s National Youth Technology and Innovation Fair supported by MITA. The event’s success depends on your active participation.
